We provide a calm and comfortable environment for your pup when they stay with us.

Boarding Rates & Policies

  • Daily Rate: Charged per calendar day, per dog
  • Drop-off: Charged as a full day
  • Early Pick-up: 1/2 per dog if picked up by 12:00 PM
  • Early Drop-off (before 8:00)/ Late Pick-up (after 7:00 pm): may incur additional charges
  • 10+ day stay = recieve 1 free day
  • Only 1 discount per stay

Paws & Play

Paws & Play gives pups the perfect opportunity to burn off energy while enjoying healthy socialization. We welcome dogs of all ages and sizes, but they must be spayed or neutered to join group play.

  • Pricing: Charged per dog
  • Hours: 8 AM – 6 PM (flexible upon request)
  • Scheduling: Advance booking required — no drop-ins

$25 (Half day, 0-4 hours)

$35 (Full day, 4-8 hours)

$45 (flat rate over 8 hours)

Pet Drop-in              (your home)

Drop-In Visits are perfect for pets who feel most comfortable at home. I am able to provide drop-ins up to 4 times a day, depending on distance.  Visits include feeding, potty breaks, give medications and care for any type of pets in your household.

  • Flexible care: Any number of dogs included — no extra charge per dog
  • Visit length: 15–20 minutes each
  • Travel: Small fee applies for homes over 5 miles away
  • Cat Care only: $20/visit per day
  • Other pets: +$10-20 (depending on care needed)

vaccination requirements

Pet owners are required to submit proof of vaccine status. For ease and convenience, you may request your veterinarian to email them to us at: vanscozycanines@gmail.com

The following vaccines are required:

  • Rabies
  • Distemper
  • Parvovirus
age/gender limits
  • Puppies under 6 months are accepted.  All puppies under 1 year of age must be crate trained
  • Female pups must be spayed after 1 year of age (or after their first heat) to participate in boarding or group play.
  • Intact males are accepted; however, they must be kennel trained and cannot join group play due to state regulations.

frequently asked questions
  • Is there an extra cost for Paws & Play if my pup is boarding overnight? No, there is no extra charge for daytime play during a boarding stay.
  • What do I need to bring for my pups boarding stay? 
    You can bring your dog’s food (preferably pre-portioned in ziplock bags), a blanket, bed, leash, and treats. I recommend leaving toys at home unless they’ll stay in the kennel with your pup.  I have crates of all sizes so no need to bring from home.
  • Do you administer medications?  Yes, I can administer oral medications as well as insulin. To ensure safety and accuracy, all medications must be kept in their original prescribed bottles, and clear instructions should be provided regarding when and how they should be given.  No extra charge for medication administration.
  • Can I bring wet food?  Yes! Please make sure it’s labeled and stored in appropriate containers or ziplock bags.
  • Are all dogs kenneled? 
    No — if your pup is comfortable being out at home, they’ll be fine being out here too. Dogs with high anxiety may benefit from some kennel time to help them feel calm and secure, while high-energy pups might need short kennel breaks to rest and recharge. I’ll always check with you before kenneling your dog.
  • Do you take dogs with separation anxiety? Yes — many of our regulars have separation anxiety and have done very well here. Every pup is different, so I provide extra attention and care to help them feel safe and comfortable. Some dogs may need a little more support, and in those cases there may be an additional cost for the “extra” care. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels secure and settled while you’re away.
  • Do you take aggressive dogs?  I’m not able to take dogs who show aggressive behavior. Since our home is mostly kennel‑free and we have to keep everyone safe, we can’t always separate dogs when needed. I can separate dogs during mealtimes, though, since some pups only show food‑related aggression.
